This food is legit made from scratch Floretine style Italian food. Being of Italian decent myself, I hand make pasta and ravioli at home so I rarely eat out for Italian. When I walked by the window and saw huge bowls of dough rising on the counter for that evening's service I had to come back for dinner. Plan to make a reservation. We got lucky since they just opened for the evening.
Friendly and competent wait staff. Absolutely delicious food. There were 5 of us and we all loved whatever we had. The tagliatelle with shrimp and clams was outstanding. My sister loved the steak with pureed artichoke hearts. My other sister loved the fresh pasta with Bolognese. The panna cotta was excellent. By the way, the bread is delicious. So sorry we don't live in Bend.
Fantastic restaurant. Truly a authentic experience. Reminds me of several small Italian restaurants from Southern Italy. Hard to get the taste right, but everything from bread, pasta, sauces, and seafood were wonderful. I note there are some negative reviews regarding service, presentation, or pricing. I don't really agree with those, some people just really need to feel special. But honestly, to get this caliber of Italian food here in Bend is amazing. Will be coming back over and over again.
