First Time Visit to Sayers Dam Beach! My sister, my mom, and I enjoyed a perfect day of mid-September weather at Sayers Dam Beach recently. We'd never visited this Dam or Beach before, so we weren't sure what to expect. Other than a large pack of surly, opinionated Canadian geese, this beach was just about perfect. We were the only three people there on the entire Beach. There are large open areas of grass with some outbuildings surrounding the sand beach. A beautiful little Central PA beach. Enough sandy beach for a crowd, water that was warm enough to swim but chilly enough to cool down, plenty of parking, a little playground for the kids right by the sand, restrooms/dressing rooms, and a snack bar. The trails around the beach are also a plus for those wishing to do a little nature walking. There’s an easy path around a little frog pond full of wildlife that kids will enjoy!
