Ballarat has some of the best cycling in Australia, and the Saxons welcome anyone who wants to take advantage of it. Rides are normally three mornings a week, and finish with the traditional social gathering.
Great bunch of Ballarat cyclists. Very welcoming of new participants. Men and women who have done a bit of cycling will enjoy the company on the road and at the coffee spot afterwards.
A very welcoming group who can cater for beginners and more experienced riders as they generally split into 2 groups. There is always coffee after ride at cafe on the lakeshore and the conversation is upbeat and lively.
The Saxons bunch of guys and girls are a great cycling club in Ballarat. Really knowledgeable of the cycling routes all around the Greater Ballarat area.
