If you’re skiing the back of Lake Louise (close to the Larch and Ptarmigan chair lifts) then grab lunch here. The cafeteria below is chaos but this upper level restaurant offers great food it’s hard to believe it’s on a ski hill. The French onion soup was hearty. The standout is the rosti potato with smoked salmon, crème fraiche and chives - wow! It’s a busy restaurant so be prepared to line up during peak lunch time. Totally worth it!

Angela was our server and was super helpful and kind. Made great suggestions. Even provided us with a pair of latex gloves we needed for an experiment. Excellent spot to stop for a nice break in a less busy, rustic, cozy environment.
Just wow! If I could give more stars I would! There is a gem of a waitress named Ange at Sawyer’s Nook! After my daughter spelled out her order in as much detail as necessary, Ange asked if there were any allergies or other concerns she should be aware of and my daughter responded “Autism”. Without hesitation Ange immediately started to ask my daughter if there was anything else she could do to make the meal better for her (keep the food from touching etc).
