A must do adventure if you stay in Stanley. Book the whole day excursion (instead of half day) if you don’t want to be rushed and plan make stops stop to enjoy the view, look for wildlife, and eat lunch at Basin Butte at 8840’. Best view of the Sawtooth Mountains in panoramic splendor. Bring nuts for the chipmunks at Basin Butte

We rented 3 Polaris' from Sawtooth Traxx on August 17, 2026 and had an amazing experience. Not only were the owners easy to work with, but the vehicles themselves were in very good shape. The ride up and back to the fire lookout was amazing; an experience our group won't soon forget. I would HIGHLY recommend Sawtooth Traxx to anyone visiting the Stanley area, especially those wanting to experience something a little different from the norm.

We rented an ATV for the day to explore the Stanley Idaho area. We met Todd at Sawtooth Traxx who made sure we had everything we needed for a full day of back country exploration. This included on-board GPS for all of the off road trails! Excellent experience all the way around. Would definitely recommend!
