There is a reason monopolies are never good for the consumers who are forced to use them! Sawnee EMC is the monopoly in my area (Johns Creek) and as much as I'd like to get rid of them, I can't. My bill this month isn't due until 1/28 so last week, on 1/14, before heading out of town for work, I paid my bill in full, using my bank account. Had my power go out at 435 in the A M. Made a call to 911, and within 10 minutes, they were out working on the issue. They finished by 625 A M. Now it was pouring rain, lightening, windy, and cold. God bless those workers!!!! They are heroes to me
