I’ve been a customer for 10+ years and they are horrible! I was once told we wouldn’t be charged a “wholesale power adjustment rate” every month that it would just be some months when they needed to purchase extra power and that was a lie! All the extra fees they are charging is ridiculous but we are forced to pay them because we can’t just choose a power provider! My next house will be NOT be one that has Sawnee EMC as its provider

If you have a choice, choose Georgia Power. Sawnee EMC goes out a lot. And they are never in a hurry to get it back on!
Several long outages destroying hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. Will have to buy generator. This is terrible, dangerous service.
I have been a loyal customer of this company for over 5 years, and I am absolutely shocked and disappointed by the way I was treated recently. I had a very small and reasonable request, something that should have been easily handled, yet it was flat-out turned down by Supervisor Helen and the main manager, Mr. Bennett.
