The experience was our 2nd time building a new home first time with a National builder. There were many great people to work with in the organization. For me there should be some issues that would make the process a lot better and less stressful for the homeowner and builders supervisor. One example would be the location of trees planted. My experience with DHI Mortgage Group was extremely disappointing. Both loan processor John Linzmaier and mortgage loan originator Mandi Sutfin mishandled my loan. I asked for a short extension to provide one final document, and instead of granting it, John closed my loan as denied. Mandi Sutfin did not step in to help or advocate for me at any point. Because of their actions, I lost my 3.4% mortgage rate and was forced into a 7% loan I cannot afford. This caused serious financial and personal stress. I would urge anyone con... read more
