Helpful, friendly, and accommodating! We were visiting Laurel from out-of-town and found a stray kitten. The staff at Sawmill bathed her and checked her out for us. SO grateful!!
We would never go anywhere else, we have been using Sawmill for almost 30 years! We love everyone there, always friendly and top notch treatment for all of our fur babies!

The manager at Sawmill Animal hospital is extremely rude & not actually concerned for animals that are in need of medical attention even if the costs are offered to be paid for, the only thing we couldn’t do is keep him. She literally told us we should have left it there to kill itself. He was trying to go through glass and hit his head with all his strength multiple times. it’s one thing to not be able to keep an animal, which i understand. but when the kitten was beating its head on the wall about to kill its self you don’t tell people calling for looking help that they just shouldn’t had ever picked it up. we spent 45 mins trying to catch the baby or else it would be dead. if you use sawmill animal hospital, i’d find somewhere else. oh and my sister was going to pay for the treatment she just couldn’t keep the kitten due to it being feral & us having other cats. they need a new manager with ... read more
