He is a wonderful doctor, excellent bedside manner, thorough, experienced, and very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Sawires and have been told by several nurses he is the best surgeon in the hospital. Thank you for being so supportive, you are a phenomenal doctor.
Horrible surgeon, did not answer any of my questions or concerns. When I had my first meeting with the surgeon he rushed me through the consultation and made me feel like my concerns were not important. If it wasn’t for OHIP covering my surgery I would have immediately then and there have rushed to find a new surgeon. On the day of surgery, the surgeon again did nothing to ease my concerns and used a very disrespectful tone towards my wife when she wanted clarification on how my recovery would go. The conduct displayed by him was highly unprofessional and disrespectful, demonstrated a neglectful absence of care and no empathy whatsoever. There was a complete lack of accountability for errors and an inclination to shift blame onto others within the hospital, even the patient themselves. I strongly advise getting treatment from another doctor within the hospital or a different hospital altogether.
