I recently got back from a 4 night trip to the BWCA with a group of friends, all first timer women. We did full outfitting with Sawbill Canoe Outfitters and had an awesome trip! The instructions the SCO staff gave us were great, they answered all of our questions very well and didn't make any of us feel silly for asking any of them. We had a hiccup with our trip and SCO really took care of us. Arguably one of the better outfitters I've been to with a good handful of trips to the BWCA under my belt.
Came here with a group for a BCWA trip. The showers were clean and warm, with the camp group meeting our needs. Only thing that irked me was the store clerk asking if I needed anything when I was looking around, as if I were going to steal something. Otherwise, it wasn’t a bad experience.
