I've outfitted through these folks three times in my life. Twice with my father and once with two friends. The time with the friends, they outfitted us with everything but our bags and tents. The food was excellent. I also highly recommend a solo canoe. It's like butter through the water up there.
Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Good selection of last minute gear needs. Nice equipment rental for canoe trips. Didn't try the showers - maybe next time! We rented a kevlar canoe, pfd, paddles, and Crazy Creek canoe chairs that strap to the canoe seat but offer some back support. We also used the Crazy Creek chairs at our camp as camp chairs - either putting them on a log or on the ground as just some extra padding and support.
