This is an updated review after living in this place for 1 year and documenting our experiences, especially with the unfair things happening in the move out/post charges for “damages” which I’ll cover later. I should give it negative star! This landlord is HORRIBLE and we are suing them! Our apartment was completely flooded by a pipe burst happened suddenly at night. Just me and my two year old daughter were at home, and we were scared and shocked about the incident. The next day I called the office, they have no empty unit to put us and they are not offering any help, they just tell me to call my insurance company to find a solution. I’ve been here going on 4 years…..it was good at 1st but now a totally different story. No return calls everything has to be communicated through a portal or text message so impersonal & unprofessional. I have a neighbor that fights their kids throw toys food & trash in my patio. Absolutely terrible. Please do not lease here. I have been a tenant for almost 20 months and I’m actually breaking my lease on Aug 3 to get as far away from here as I can. When I first came here things were ok not great but ok. The grills don’t work and falling apart (see for yourself when doing a tour), the elevators work whenever they want to work. THEY LEFT ME HOMELESS! STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COST! I paid a deposit, signed a lease, quit my job and transferred all my utilities to move from New Hampshire to Nashville. The day before I was set to move down, they called me and said the previous tenant was no longer moving out and that they didn’t have anywhere for me to stay. They left me HOMELESS. I don’t understand how this is legal but signing a lease with them is not worth potentially losing housing over. Absolutely terrible.
I have lived here for a year and a half unfortunately. This was supposed to be temporary while I was looking for a house, but the market is terrible now. We have been fighting a growing mouse infestation for 7 months. The first 3 times I asked for assistance the pest control guy showed up outside the time range I was given, and I wasn't home. I'm so mad that I didn't read these reviews first. I received a written (email) quote for $1644 for a two bedroom. Decided to apply and paid the $300 holding fee for the apartment. When I received the lease to sign, there was an additional $200 added for parking. We decided within 24 hours of applying, to withdrawl our application. Received an email that stated since we were approved, the holding deposit was non-refundable. Future renters - be very mindful of this shady business practice.
This apartment is so dirty and there are mice in the apartment. We found mice drops and snacks bitten by the mice after a couple days of move-in. They sent a couple of mice control service but the problem hasn’t been solved yet. You can hear mice scratching walls in late night. We regret that we signed the lease for a year and can’t wait to move out!
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I applied for an apartment in Andover Place in cross creek in Tampa. First they tell me I’m denied because I don’t make 5 times the rent and they make you pay the admin fee of $200 with the application fee of $75 to deny you as soon as you press submit your application. I was told it would take only 2 Weeks to refund my money. It’s now been over a month and I still have not received my money back. This is about the principle of the situation. This is stealing.
