Savitt Auto repair I want to share my disappointment and my story when I took my truck into Savitt Auto repair in Downers Grove, Illinois. I took my Dodge Ram 1500 truck into Savitt Auto about 2 years ago for new U joints. I brought my truck back into Savitt just recently after experiencing problems. I drove in and was seen by the Manager/Owner Cory. He proceeded to put my truck on the lift and explained that the U joints looked fine and that they were OK. Amazingly positive experience! I had purchased tires from a Goodyear store and had many problems. I contacted Goodyear and they were cordial but less than helpful. Savitt is a dealer so I called him - he was my advocate to Goodyear, set me up with new rubber, handled all the warranty noise, and kept me informed throughout the process. I used to be a Goodyear customer - now I am a Savitt customer. They also perform maintenance and now I know where to source that.
