Take your car to Tecnicair!!! after going to savins in lismore and paying $536.25 for the pre-service check, the aircon service to ensure there were no issues and then the regas, my aircon stopped working approx 8 weeks later. I was told the work did not have any guarantee or warranty and it would be an unrelated issue. Super friendly helpful staff great products
These people are untrustworthy. Our radiator appeared to be leaking so I took the car into Savins. They said I needed a new radiator as mine was “cracked” - they also tried to upsell me to replacing the entire cooling system. Fortunately there was a red flag; VW parts - being “Euro” - was difficult to source… Like it’s not the biggest car maker on Earth… So I went to my usual service people who found that the only issue was a faulty radiator cap. Got a wheel alignment ($125) and after it my car was much worse and wanted to drive me into a ditch. Took it back and they said "the computer says your wheels are straight" I asked if they adjusted shims and they said "no that will cost another $85"
I have an older classic vehicle which needed some brake work. They looked after the vehicle while sourcing parts and I was away. Job fine and very friendly service.
