It's unfortunate that local residents only have this option as a large grocery store. Many residents go to Montana to do their shopping. Saveway has always had high prices and not always the best quality of fresh foods. But, this is not why I've decided to review the store. I am concerned about the lack of importance that has been put toward public safety and health during this time of pandemic. does not support other local businesses like landscapers that used to buy and now will will go to Montana to shop. because he does not support. hires people from out of town. prices are high in the store. product in flyer on sale is never in stock and available. false advertising. it's sad there is only one grocery store in salmon....I will not support the bills family or the grocery business.
overpriced products..especially meat and produce. alot of people go to Montana once a week to shop. Pharmacy is the slowest place on Earth.
RecommendedThey have a great selection, good sales & clean environment. We buy alot of fresh produce & meat and it always seems to be well stocked (well, with the exception of right now but only because of us crazies😷😂) & hood quality. MOST of the staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm extra thankful for the Bill's family (entire family) and their incredible staff who have been working nonstop to keep the shelves full for us! 💕
Here's is a novel idea: When it is time to buy groceries the Save Way should demand that residents show one of their recent utilities bills and a drivers license to prove they live here, then give them a discount of some sort for being a faithful customer during these times. ~ Shane
One word- Overpriced. The most expensive grocery store I have ever stepped foot inn. I feel bad for the Salmon residents
Overpriced products, awful customer service, rude employees, rotten fruit and vegetables, outdated items on shelves. It's no wonder residents of Salmon will travel almost 3 hours up over the divide to get their groceries in Montana.
