What can I say about this place other than amazing? The pastries were incredible, the paninis were delicious and perfectly prepared, and the coffee was absolutely exquisite. What truly made the experience special, though, was the owner. He came out to greet us personally and shared his story—being both Peruvian and French, and having traveled the world, he brings those experiences to life through his food. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. Paying $17 for a sandwich would be fine if the quality matched the price, but the bread tasted stale and the food was underwhelming. The décor feels incredibly dated—like stepping into an old hotel lobby from the 1980s. It honestly looks like the kind of place you’d expect to see getting a makeover on one of those “save my restaurant” TV shows. For the prices, I also didn’t expect to have to bus my own table.
