Smog service was quick. Prices were great. The employee who pulled in my car and stole up to 5 dollars in quarters out of my cup holder was not OK. Tried to talk to owner about it, but he said I was crazy and to leave. If he is going to steal that out of a car, what else is the employee going to steal? Filed incident report with Brentwood PD. I've had a handful of smog checks done here over the years, and they have been pretty expedient. Sometimes a line forms, and it might get a little confusing. There are other smog places in the area now so I'll drive down the street a few minutes if I can't wait.
Talked to someone a little after 2pm on a Saturday to see how long the wait time would be for a smog check and the price. They said there was no wait, they close at 5pm, and it would be $78. I showed up less than an hour later to one employee sitting outside smoking a cigarette telling me the smog station was closed. Two seconds later another employee comes around the corner clearly coming from a gas station behind the shop with a bag full of tall can beers which he put in his car and walked back in the shop. Do Not Come Here!! They stole an item out of my car. At first I assumed they just moved it to do the smog check. I asked where they moved the item or if they accidentally took it. Both the cashier and tech pretended not to know what I was talking about. I checked my entire car multiple times before and after talking to them. I went back to the cashier to ask again.
