The passion this place has for animals is unmatched. Being a Sarasota resident, I have encountered multiple birds with issues and every single time they have accepted the birds with open arms, even coming to me to pick up on two ocassions. Even if it's not a bird they have a great network of places and volunteers that will help any animal in need. Next time you see an animal in distress, don't just drive by or walk by.
