We had an excellent visit at Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine. Everyone from the front office staff, to the tech Kassandra and on to Dr. Woods made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we stepped in the practice. They listened to all of our concerns, answered all our questions, and gave a thorough evaluation of my greyhound, Boaz, with recommendations for next steps. We are so blessed to have an amazing Internal Medicine Doctor , Dr.Woods and his assistant, Cassandra caring for our CaraMia's medical needs. She suffers from IBD and she has made incredible progress! We just moved to Okatie from NJ. I needed to find a expert in this field of internal medicine since CaraMia's IBD was not improving. Dr Woods changed her diet program.. plus needed meds to help her eat her new food! Dr. Woods and his staff are beyond extraordinary. The care, attention, and compassion they offered to me and my baby is far beyond what was expected. While Mozart has passed (peacefully), I am grateful to have this team in our corner for the last years of his life. I am also grateful for the care and support they offered after his passing. Truly, one of a kind.
I really appreciate how much time Dr Woods spends with his patients. He is patient with several questions and takes his time to explain things in an easy way.
The staff were so professional and caring. They scheduled me within 24 hours! Dr. Woods and his team spent time understanding the issues with my dog and were able to get a quick diagnosis and also made such a great report and ultrasound that made it so clear for a surgeon to do a very clear pinpoint for expedited surgery. Dr. Woods also spent time after visit to call after hours to go over lab results. If you live in Savannah, this would be my go to practice!
