I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people. I don’t even know where to start. It took almost 8 weeks to get an appointment with Speciality Care (audiology) and then have the clinic cancel the appointment the day of the appointment, because “the doctor of the day” is no longer available and won’t be as she went into labor and will be on maternity leave . Congratulations Doctor 🍼🥳. The clinic is totally understaffed. Scheduler trying to reschedule appointment but there are no appointments available for at least another 8 weeks waiting time. The absolute worst VA. I’m not sure if the staff if trained but they always give me the run around when it comes to being seen by someone. I understand they see a lot of people but jeez I shouldn’t have to wait 3-4 weeks for a broken hand. I recommend you call the Charleston VA before calling here because they’ll have you running around like a chicken cut your head off. Or have another health insurance set as your primary. I also recommend you call patient advocacy for any problems with this place
