I have been a Savannah Tire customer for some 17 years. Recently I have noticed a significant change in the level of service and customer relations. The turn over in staff has been horrific Twice I have arrived early at the Montgomery Crossroads location only to find the store had no record of my appointment/reservation. Please be advised that I will not recommend/support/endorse Savannah Tire in any way nor will I use Savannah Tire to meet my needs.
I called for an appointment (yesterday). When I checked in at 8AM, they could not find my reservation. I needed a tire rotation. When I came back after 9:15AM, my car had not moved. I was given some excuses. This is not the Savannah Tire I have been dealing with for eight years.
Excellent place. LOVE the staff and management. This is my one stop shop for my vehicle. Quality service and customer satisfaction.
BEWARE! I'm so disappointed as I have used Savannah Tire for years. I took my car in for an oil change, and they told me I was in dire need of brakes, calipers, rotors, the whole works. Mind you, my brakes hadn't been squeaking or giving me trouble at all. I'm 6 months pregnant and I think they took advantage of the fact that I need a safe car for my children. waste of time and money Terrible prices to high and flat out told lies to get my money. Luckily I am a savy shopper and I let them tell me all that was wrong with my car even let them believe I was desperate to get it fixed. Well at a quote for almost $2000 I told them to put my car back the way they received and I went and picked up my car. So-so customer service The service and helpfulness of the staff are uneven at this Savannah Tire. I tend to want to support local businesses, and I don't need anyone to roll out a red carpet for me, but I do believe that the folks--particularly the ones who work at the front desk--need a bit of customer service training. Misdiagnosis results in $1500 Repair As a woman it is difficult enough to take your car in for service, and you hope that the man behind the counter is shooting you straight.
