My wife and I have always enjoyed going to the Pops!
For a small orchestra they tackle some strong pieces. Dvorak's 9th and Beethoven's 7th were stirrlingly triumphant, and they play other far-less known composers with interesting compositions. Their recent performance of Handel's Messiah was very moving.
We are lucky to have such quality and talented musicians here in Savannah. If you are looking for beautiful experience, buy your tickets early for the Savannah Philharmonic!
