Have had two gas leaks in the first month of owning, despite being installed by one of the top heating companies in the lower mainland, who have said it is a manufacturing issue. Now the fan is making a horrible electrical/mechanical noise. Frustratingly poor quality.
Complete junk. Don’t waste your money. We had 2 Savannah fireplaces installed and right from the get-go one would work for maybe a month and all the parts had to be replaced, finally we replaced the whole unit and it worked for a short time and now it’s completely useless again. Stay far far away from these units .
Do not buy the Savanah BL 21- 3 years later and i need to replace the valve, labor, valve etc , cost me 30 % of a brand new fireplace. VERY VERY BAD, Do not buy
Best value in a Canadian made natural gas linear fireplace. The Genesis line is exceptional.
