Today we did an event with Savannah Kayak and Canoe alongside Savannah Tree Foundation. It was spectacular. We felt very safe from beginning to end. The information shared was clear and concise. We really enjoyed the paddle ~ even if my hubby couldn’t quite get the hang of steering the rudder 🤭…. Today was our 3rd trip with Savannah Canoe and Kayak and each one has been absolutely fantastic. Today we went out to Wassaw Island and it truly was one of the best experiences of our lives! We saw so many dolphins and bird life galore! Gorgeous remote islands. Our guide Arran was wonderful and knew so much about the land, wildlife and history of the region.. plus just a straight up beautiful human to be around! My friends and I took the five hour ecology tour and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Our guide, Mel, was deeply knowledgeable about the marine life and birds in the area. She was so well prepared and helped us safely kayak to the sandbar and back. A few of us in the group (including myself) had never used a kayak before, but Mel was an awesome teacher. Thank you so much for making this the highlight of our trip!
