Thank you to Todd and everyone at Savage’s for fixing my front wheel bearings and getting me back on the road. I am biking from Ottawa to Halifax and they booked me in right away for service. Excellent customer service.
Go to Radical Edge instead. A friend got a tube replaced here and rode home. When it went flat due to an obvious pinch less than 24h later, the tech (who didnt do the work) blamed the spokes for poking a hole in the tube (spokes were tight, plus you’d think a tech would notice busted rim tape and spokes loose enough to pop tires). They refused to correct the mistake for anything less than the full cost of service for the second time. Friendly service with expert advice! The store had lots of options for whatever your bike may need
I can say the staff seemed very friendly and then it was all downhill from there. First of all, they don't like to refund you your money back, even if you received the wrong advice and therefore the wrong product. I had to argue with somebody on the phone and plead my case. He was nice enough though and did suggest I could still do an exchange for the cleats that I needed which were 1/2 the price btw, but then I would of had to spend the rest of the money on something else I really did'nt need, to make up for the price diffe... read more
