My husband Gregory Brown passed on 10/23/25 in chapel hill UNC Hospital. They made all the arrangements to pick his body up and return him to Jacksonville. I wasn't satisfied how they did us, when my brother died June 2024. They didn't mention bringing the chairs out to the house,didn't bring a book for guests to sign.They only give you a hour alone with your loved one,as if that's enough time to mourn in privacy.Thr pandemic was a excuse to not bring the chairs,you have to ask they say,they have change so much down through the years. MR.Hunert Saunders please talk to your new staff , because they are a good business man like you up.

I give the staff five stars. Unfortunately, obituaries are outsourced to a third-party. Imagine writing and providing Saunders Funeral Home's vendor with your mother's obituary and discovering the incorrect date listed at her funeral, in addition to subsequently contacting the vendor who did not assume responsibility, apologize, or subsequently providing additional obituaries, with the correct date.
