My daughter has this phobia of doctors. I know she's only 3-years-old. I just didn't want her first experience with a dentist to be a bad one. I found Dr. Chen via the internet and his reviews sounded promising. I went in knowing I may need some work. I had an initial exam and x-rays that went great. Dr. Chen made it clear what work I needed. When I left the chair his staff clearly informed me of the treatment I needed and how much it would cost after insurance. Since this initial visit a couple months ago, I have done a root canal, fillings, and a porcelain crown and all of it was done with no pain and discomfort. I am one who has had many bad experiences with dentist so I have a fear of an office visit and had prolonged a much needed visit. I needed to try a new dentist and called Saugus Dental out of the blue. After my first visit and some much needed work I finally had an experience that I could not only live with but found a Dr. that I felt I could enthusiastically recommend. I've always had this fear of going to the dentist. So I just figured this office was the same as always. I've just moved here a few months ago and just needed to get established. I actually had a good dental experience! The staff was friendly and easy going. The dentist was nice and thorough. The office was new and clean. My mouth didn't hurt when I left. Dr. Tran talked me through the whole process so I knew what he was doing. I can honestly say that I don't dread going the dentist anymore.

My elderly mother was visiting from Canada and was having lots of pain. One side of her mouth was extremely swollen. I called Saugus Dental and the staff was able to fit her in the very same day. They were very gentle and caring. She's much better now by the time she left the office. Now she can relax and enjoy her visit to California!
