Cake turned out on the outside exactly how my husband and I had imagined it. Price was great for what was included and she includes a "free" 1-year cake so that we did not have to save any of our cake for a year. Everything was set up on time. Was a bit hard to communicate with in terms of getting responses, but everything got done on time so was okay with it over all. Flavors were good and a tasting was included which was nice and she created a new flavor combination for us because I wanted a tiramisu inspired tier.
I loved working with Michelle for our wedding cake. Not only was she extremely easygoing, but she was able to match our vision perfectly. The cake was to die for, my husband still hasn't stopped raving about it, and she perfectly recreated the cake design that we were inspired by. 11/10 experience, cannot recommend Sauer Cakes enough!
Booking with Michelle was smooth and easy - she met up with us to meet us, understand our wants, and gave us free samples. You can tell she’s done this a time or two with how professional she was and how she had everything handled - I never once worried about the cake for our wedding, I knew she had it handled and would go above and beyond! the cake was of course delicious and she even let us add cheesecake bites to our order which was a great addition!
Michelle responded immediately to our initial request regarding a wedding cake. She seemed excited to work with us, was available for the date of our wedding, and could accommodate our request. However, after that initial response, she never responded to our repeated follow-up emails (sent to the email she used for the initial response and also to the email that appears on her business Facebook page). I'm glad we discovered early in the process that she was not dependable, instead of finding out just before our wedding.
