Finally made it in and was it worth it? Hell yes it was. We sat at the bar and the staff was so nice and attentive and everything was perfect. We got the two person meal and that way we got to taste most of what they had to offer - fried catfish is light and crispy and flavorful, pork ribs were perfectly cooked with crispy edges and nice amount of sauce and the bbq chicken was smoky and delish - collards, potato salad, hot links and red beans and rice. This was our first time at Saucy Mama’s. We were greeted warmly welcomed into this wonderfully smelling restaurant. We were both going to order pork ribs but the waitress suggested we also get the beef ribs. We were told the beef ribs were fall of the bone yummy. The pork ribs were wonderful, tender and flavorful. We were disappointed in the beef ribs, the meat was definitely not fall of the bone tender, it required a knife. The flavor was there but the texture was chewy. Went there for Fourth of July too long for the food except for the appetizer, which was the chicken crackling which my wife and I did not find very savory really bad service young person’s working there too many customers during the time wanted to leave, but was already late so had to stick with it. There were spiderwebs in the ceiling and overall bad experience wouldn’t recommend.
