Taking over the downtown area every Saturday morning from 9a to 2p, this lively gathering features live music, mouth-watering food and a variety of vendors selling their wares. People looking for more tables and chairs need not apply. People looking for backwoods rustic farmers market need not apply. This is the best-foot-forward weekly the way floridians in the city down by the water would do it. Wish I could come here often.

Best market EVER. Lots of organic selections. All local all wonderful.
I am in love with this market! I wish I could go every week! Some of my favorite vendors include, Maggie on the Move food truck, Nardo's Natural organic skincare, the cheese shop, Worden Farms, Bag It, My Storybook Corner, Pop Craft Pops, the pickle stand and Empanada World. There are so many wonderful things to try and buy and it's even better with live music playing the whole time.
If you love good music, great ethnic food, farm-fresh produce, eggs, jams, pickles, cheeses, local artisan-made art & handicrafts, and a wonderful sense of community, you'll love the Saturday Morning Market. I've been going for about 10 years (as of 2018), and it is truly a highlight of my week. The friendly people, the intoxicating food smells, the colorful flowers, the rhythmic music, and the camaraderie, are a truly awesome experience. This is the beating heart of St Petersburg.
