Very Disappointed We have been to Satterfield's in the past and found it very enjoyable. However, we went this past weekend and was extremely disappointed. The service was the absolute worst ever!! The food while expensive was fair nothing special. South Louisiana has such excellent restaurants with superb cuisine - its a shame that Satterfield's is no longer one of them!
Great view We recently visited Satterfield's, and we were thrilled with everything. The wine list is the best around, and the updated menu is great. Get there to watch the sunset from the outside deck overlooking False River.
Big Talk for a not so big restaurant I heard so much about this restaurant - many good things - so I had to try it. Maybe I set the standard too high because I was disappointed. The setting was nice - right on the river, though parking is hard to find. The food is good, but not great. This is a nice restaurant to bring families, dates, or friends. Good service and good food - just not great
