My Mom is scheduled for knee replacement surgery & she had to get clearances from her doctors, including her PCP. She saw Dr. Gowda from Northwestern Medicine, and he examined her. He stated that he would give clearance for surgery. However, when she saw her PCP the following week, she stated that while there was a record of her being seen by Dr. Gowda, he didn’t mark down in her chart that he cleared her for surgery. I made an appointment 2 months ago to have my CPAP machine adjusted. It took the nurses 2 days to return my call to make this appointment. Four weeks before my scheduled appointment, I get a voicemail stating that all appointments for that day have been cancelled as Dr. Gowda got called in to perform a surgical procedure. When I tried to reschedule, I was told I would have to wait an ADDITIONAL 3 months to see him. When I was in the hospital Dr Gowda was my pulmonary Dr for the pneumonia I had contracted. He is very kind and compassionate. The staff in the office a awesome. I
