Just an embarrassing company. My wife and I just moved to Saskatchewan and bought a home that had the services shut off. We did all the electrical work needed to get the service back on. The was over 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t sent a technician out to reattach the power lines to our new meter socket. Not to mention that I’ve had to call almost 20 times to get their departments to actually talk to each other and resolve the issue. Worst service. We need a different power and energy company in Regina. What a joke of a company.
Helpful over the phone, however the tech that came out this morning made our power flicker/cut out worse, said theyd be back at 7-8am and has not been back at all since. Absolutely ridiculous behavior and very unprofessional now telling me "sometime tonight" I lost a full day of work, and an elderly ladys electronic equipment hasnt been staying running outting her in potential danger. I will be raising concerns to a higher authority.
The apps/websites are brutal now. Can't tell if they never work, or simply and somehow coincide with power outages. Have had several unplanned outages occur, and low and behold, each time I want to see what's going on I cannot open the SaskPower website or app. Has nothing to do with Wi-Fi being knocked out, just getting 502 bad gateways or full on connection refused errors on cellular data.
