This is the sushi go to. Full stop. Lime pepper red snapper: punchy, present, never overwhelming. Black cod: sweet, a little vinegar, served warm, so perfect. Food, service, atmosphere, all of it. Go.
This is our absolute favorite place to go for Omakase!!! Very cozy, straightforward, and the sushi chef is always so personable and accommodating.
Sushi Sasabune is a unique, one of a kind experience. My wife and I think it is very special and are delighted that it has remained in this neighborhood for a long time now. The fish is exquisitely fresh.. every bite is wonderful. The service is polite, attentive, and warm, including both the owner and his excellent staff.
