I had a very distressing experience here and would not return. My dog is 15 years old and nearing the end of her life, which made this visit extremely emotional for my family. Unfortunately, the veterinarian showed little to no compassion during the appointment. His demeanour felt dismissive and tense, and at times he appeared to be smiling or laughing during serious conversations about my dog’s condition, which felt deeply inappropriate given the circumstances. The SVUC team was able to see us in a timely manner and provided a thorough exam for our senior boy with kennel cough/pneumonia. The staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this clinic!
Very fortunate that this clinic has hours on the weekend! Staff here are very friendly and took great care of our cat Annabelle! Was recommended a few options for pet insurance, which I plan to get asap :) Would recommend this place to anyone looking for urgent care for their animals
Awesome clinic and staff. We appreciate their kindness and availability to care for our dogs when we had a life threatening emergency and no where else to go.
Called to ask if there’s an appointment today this is our regular vet… he says yes then says 200 dollars and anything else on top of that he says it’s Sunday it’s an emergency. I said no… these are just your hours on the weekend you have them post as your regular hours. 200 dollar exam fee for a cat?! Then they call back after I tell them no thanks, I ask what their fee is during the week it’s 110. They are already there all weekend why is it an emergency when you’re already there and those are you working hours?! What a jok... read more
