Sarlo SST6SP I live in on 3 acres in the middle of a tropical forest in Hawaii. Had a number of walk-behind string trimmers in my 64 years, but fell in love with the Sarlo. What a beautifully engineered machine. My Sarlo is about 12 years old, and never had a problem. Wearing out and want to re-condition. Only problem is getting parts and finding distributors. If Sarlo would work on this part of their business, they would have the best machine on the market.
teagueAMX I own a Sarlo Walk-Behind trimmer mower and am really disappointed with it due to the Briggs and Stratton engine. Company communication is lacking and finding local dealer/distributors are a pain as well. The line trimmer rotating head and mower body are the best out there IMO. The problem is we had engine reliability/starting issues practically from day one. After owning it for a couple of years, we decided to buy a new one if we could get it with a Honda engine. We want to give world class service To reply to John M.'s review...John ordered a Sarlo SST6SP from a dealer in CT. We received the order here in FT Myers and realized that what the dealer was asking for was no longer possible with this particular model. We (Sarlo) called the dealer and advised them of the change before the mower was even built.
