Too wet.
I really can't speak about the atmosphere as it's in a mall. But the food was horrible. The spring roll was literally all mush inside. I got stripped teriyaki with the fried rice and cabbage. He literally had the shrimp on the grill less than five seconds. There was no flavor to the shrimp or the fried rice. The cabbage was the only thing that had any flavor and they offered me duck sauce, which isn't japanese, it 's chinese. Horrible. Smelled good but no way i would do it again.
Not sure if they follow the recipe from the parent company. Extremely salty and oily.
I like Moe Ba's characterization in his review, below "not as vibrant and energized as before." I felt the same way. The meal felt "dead" and not alive. Chicken felt dry and old, and the flavors didn't feel like everything was merged well. It was just felt like dead chicken, noodles, and sauce added after. I did eat the whole thing, though, but I don't think I'll order again.
