Our family is devastated by the loss of our beloved dog, Axel. I have taken some time before writing this review because I wanted to ensure it reflected our experience honestly and respectfully. When I brought Axel to the clinic, I told the veterinarian that I believed he had been bitten by a snake. However, the focus remained on looking for a paralysis tick, despite me explaining that we routinely check his coat and had found no ticks. we are new to the area and my dog is on daily medication that he needs to be assessed for every 6 months - past vets have issued the script as a repeat until the following visit is due. This vet advised its policy is that I (just me, not the dog) attend the clinic monthly to obtain a new script - until he’s due again in 6 months. This script attracts a “script fee” $55.50 dollars each time. The care, consideration and compassion I received when I had to put my beautiful boy Bundy to rest was beyond outstanding. I cannot thank them enough for making a very emotional and traumatic event for me so peaceful and beautiful for him and I was overwhelmed when I received a hand written personalised sympathy card a week later.
