Disappointed. The front office lady who answered the phone seems nice and helpful. However it’s completely unfair that they try to charge you a $200 deposit to book an appointment. I find that absolutely unreasonable, unethical, and should be illegal. I have insurance, and last time I called, the rep from BCBS said offices are contractually obligated to process a claim. It’s really sad how they don’t just bill people. I tried explaining I met my deductible, and have a 20% coinsurance, but they were firm on requiring $200 upf... read more
Staff are polite but I find it ridiculous that you can charge nearly $500 for a 1 hour checkup
The office staff and providers go above and beyond. Both Dr. Crews and Sari Kerslake, FNP-C are very knowledgeable and take their commitment to their patients seriously. You are not just a number or a dollar sign at StoryBrook Medicine.
Love Sari as a provider. Takes the time to get to know you and is amazing at getting you in when things are urgent.
