My mother came into Sarenac Home Care (SHC) from an "assisted living" facility, and she was very sick and weak. Ramila took Mom in and did a thorough review of her needs from the health care advocate's assessment, and of her medications from various doctors. January 2021, I was searching for care for my mother. I sincerely feel God put his arms around us and lead us to Ramila and Sarenac Homecare. For three years Mom has received wonderful care. The first time I walked in, I was struck by the warmth, style and cleanliness of the house. Her ladies were enjoying sitting together in the living room, not just alone in their rooms. We moved our 97 year old dad to Sarenac a few years ago from a high rise facility, with frequent staff turn over, to this wonderful environment. We have noticed many improvements in dad’s health and overall well being. He is thriving under the individualized services and attention. The honest review of Sarenac Home Care that you will want to read. Sarenac Home Care is a family run business run primarily by the owner and another employee. On the surface this is a very nice home in a nice suburb. Long story short we had a family member that had need of a memory care home and things were moving fast. The illness was quick, the transition from the hospital was quick, and we needed a safe place for our family member. I needed to move our Mom into a care facility after our Dad passed away in January. They lived in another town hours from here, in their own home with a mix of family and paid caregivers. Mom has dementia and is legally blind, so I knew this would not be easy.
