Was blindsided by the costs at this clinic this weekend. In an effort to help others be wise with their money here is our breakdown of costs (please add your own as these prices are not listed on their website anywhere I can find, though I would have liked to have known them beforehand): Wellness check $124.95 - this took less than 15 minutes for two medium dogs (total charge $249.90). We switched from another vet to this veterinary clinic when our dog was sick, we went from being treated incredibly poorly at the other clinic to just 100% great care with Sardis Animal Hospital. They referred us to a specialty clinic as my rescue dog had heartworm and we were treated with the utmost kindness and care between both places. I have been a client here for over 40 years. Started with Dr. Anvik. They were always good and caring with my animals over the years. I always recommended them to anyone looking for a vet. Definitely gone downhill with the new owners. Very impersonal and all about the money. Went in to get dewormer for two barncats. Used to be able to get pills from them no questions asked. I took my dog to get the second shot of the vaccine that was booked. Because my English is not good, I thought I had paid for both shots last month. They chased me out to ask for the money, so I paid. The bill included the so-called physical examination of taking the temperature, checking the ears and touching the belly, which cost 119 (the vaccine was only 65). These were all done last month. Sardis animal hospital is great friendly staff. It just suvks you pay 100 to walk thru the door. Updated my dogs vaccine 293$ later. That is so sad!!!
