If you want to know something, you want to know something from the best - And these guys are the best. I’m currently in training for the military, and they made my experience at SARCRAFT to be the best thing I could have hoped for. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend their product to anyone.
For months (really probably a year) I’ve been feeling the need to have a level or preparedness in the event of an emergency. After the NC floods and all the people stranded for weeks, I asked myself could I survive until help arrived. The answer was no. Also, seeing shows like Paradise also made me uncomfortable because I knew I lacked all outdoor skills. What a great experience! Phil made a walk in the woods an opportunity for a free lunch. One very knowledgeable instructor! Sean, our attentive class monitor, was quick with a helping hand. Can't wait to take another course at Sarcraft with Alex and the rest of his crew.
SARCRAFT is an excellent outdoor school. I recently attended both levels of land navigation training with them. Buck Freitag is an excellent land nav instructor. Alex and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bryant run the school very well and even provide tasty meals for students during classes. I deal with a severe nut allergy and they graciously accommodated it so I could eat all the meals during the length of the courses. What a wonderful time I had in the foraging class! I learn a lot about plant identification. Phil, Alex and Shawn/Sean were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend SARCRAFT. I plan on attending other classes that they offer. Thank you for the experience!
