When I dined here, I really enjoyed the service. The waiters were very hospitable. But the food was very bad. I ordered aachari paneer tikka and the onions were burnt and the green chutney they served with it tasted spoilt. I also ordered dosa and the chutney tasted raw. There also was some powder in the water. Whenever I go here, I have a mediocre experience or a bad experience. Sarvanaa Bhavan is a hit or miss restaurant.
First time trying Dosa, and it did not disappoint. It's sort of like a large savory crepe. It was delicious
We used to always go to this other place in the same neighborhood. One random time, we chose to go to Saravanaa Bhavan and ever since then, we haven’t been able to go any where else. Some of our favorites are the South Indian Thali, Kara Dosa, Idli Sambhar, Poori bhaaji. We always get the masala tea and filter coffee. If it’s too strong, they’ll also provide some milk to reduce the strength a bit. Excellent customer service and the best vegetarian South Indian food in the area.
