I want to thank the Saratoga WarHorse Foundation, Abbey and Steve, for putting together such a great program and method for teaching Veterans how to actively create bonds with others. Using the Rescue Thoroughbreds in the round pen, and having an exercise module to create a relationship with a horse, has crossover effects that can be used to enhance and create relationships with others. I look forward to hearing WarHorse growing and sharing their process with others.

I am an Air Force veteran and a North Carolina southern girl that had no real interaction with a horse until Saratoga Warhorse. I love anything with fur and now I know that includes horses especially a 1200 pound thoroughbred named Done Done Done. It was an amazing experience for veterans. It was a pleasure to meet people from different but the same walks of life. This program is designed to open your mind to new possibilities while teaching you basic skills of everyday life in and outside of a ring pin. Thanks to the friendly and professional staff of Saratoga Warhorse for this amazing experience.
