I would give a zero if I could. My son had a tire blow up on him at work (100 psi) on Monday. His buddy/co-worker brought him here being it was the closest. He was bleeding from head to chest. When they go the ER, the nurse (not sure her name) looked at my son and made a comment that he sure was dirty, and he needed to take a bath. Of course he is dirty, 1 he just had a tire blow up on him, and 2 he is a mechanic, She opened up the cupboard and told my sons buddy to use what ever he needed to clean my son up. I was transported by ambulance to this ER, and right off the bat I felt like a major inconvenience to the nurses in the ER. They were both on their phones upon my arrival, and the firemen had to say “hello, hello?” To get their attention. I was then left alone in a room for quite some time as I continued to pass out, all alone. I would rate 0 stars if I could. My husband went in for something a couple months ago. Me and my 2 sons went to go visit him, and one of my sons found one of the needle things you use to draw blood with on the floor in his room, and stuck his finger inside and scratched it! I was furious! I called the complaint hotline for intermountain healthcare and they assured me they would handle this and call me back in a couple days. Nope! Been here before and it was a great experience taking care of my wife but I came in for chest pain and I wasn’t seen for 1 hour after explaining to the nurse what I was coming in for. Chest pain. Then Dr. comes in and says, hey I didn’t look at the X-ray before coming in here but just wanted to talk about whats goin on and then I’ll come back after seeing what the X-ray says.
