I guess I'm going to have to beg to differ on the "professionalism" mentioned in a different review. I reached out to the author then editor to clarify their article about a Sarasota "medical practitioner" (I use that term loosely since she was arrested for practicing without a license). They listed her as having advanced degrees, with no mention of any higher institution where said degrees were obtained. I was of a mind that the magazine industry was a dying breed until I came across this publication; not only does it tackle in depth and complex topics but it also provides a much needed lightness and respect for the arts (which i find desperately lacking in this day and age.) This magazine provides me with such an uplifted and educated view of Sarasota and it makes me proud of my hometown.
