I was very anemic and they helped me out.
My husband has a condition where he faints/ passes out during blood draws and we called around searching for a lab with a bed, which helps reduce the likelihood of this happening. This lab has a deep recliner for this situation, and Jill was the most incredible phlebotomist we've ever encountered. She made him feel so at ease, not like an inconvenience, and she was done within seconds. Really bad experience. Just needed blood drawn. Almost no wait. The person who stuck me went it very hard, and she struck a nerve. I was told that the next time I get blood drawn to tell the person not to go in "deep". Is this my job? She should have been much more gentle. Also was told that he pain from the nerve would disappear in about an hour....did not happen.
