Not sure about the doctors yet, but the intake staff in the emergency room are the rudest people ever encountered. How awful to treat the sick and injured so badly! For God's sake, where are their hearts???

I've been to this hospital one time too many! I would rather travel farther to any hospital or drop in a walk in clinic than go there. They have the highest technology but are completely understaffed and its obvious the staff is burnt out. Rude, and rushed...

I've used Sarasota Memorial's walk in center on University three times in the last 2 months, one Saturday when I was sick and twice for a workers comp injury. The first time I felt terrible but I was in and out in about 30 minutes and the service was great, which helped. During my second visit, I was expecting to wait because of the amount of people in the waiting area but , even with the crowd, we moved quickly and I was done in under 45 minutes, including the tests. Our emergency came at 5:00pm on a Friday. What's worse is it was with our daughter. When we got to the main ER desk, to say I was stressed was the understatement of the year. The the people at the front who took our information were helpful, nice and efficient. When we got to the back, we felt like we were in good hands. Everyone from the first nurse, the doctors, and the xray tech was first class! Informative, explained what was happening, compassionate. The doctor even introduced himself by first name.
