Had a virtual video consultation with Dr. Kalvaria for a 2nd.MD opinion of a strange GI issue that other doctors have not been able to figure out. The issue has caused me 3 hospital stays over an 8 year period and having Celiac seems to confuse the matter as well. I had an online 2nd opinion with Dr Kalvaria and found him to be very knowledgeable and informative. He provided some great dietary tips I was not aware of, even though I consider myself very informed in healthy eating. He was a pleasure to speak with.

You'll wait the ENTIRE day to see a doctor even if you're on time or early for your appointment. Staff EXTREMELY RUDE, Uncaring, and just MEAN spirited - ESPECIALLY NURSE IMELDA. Nobody EVER answers the phone or schedule you an appointment right. I mean the reviews speak for themselves on here about this place. If more than a few people saying the same thing..well there you have it. NEXT !

Had my throat stretched by Dr. Kalvaria and since then my voice hasn’t been the same. I think he somehow nicked a vocal cord. I used to sing somewhat well and now I can’t hit the notes I used to and my voice sounds raspy, not like before the procedure. It has been almost 2 years since this was done and I can’t stop wondering what he did in that operating room! Also, they used some sort of anesthesia that burned when they administered it. Kalvaria himself is a wonderful doctor. I have nothing positive to say about the staff of his office. Several people working there have been beyond rude to myself or my husband. More often than not, there is no one to answer the phone. They are unresponsive, forget to call back to schedule appointments, and generally extremely difficult to get anything done. I am not sure if the quality of care is worth dealing with the incompetence of the office.
