I made the mistake of leaving an open garbage can in my preserve last year. When I went to retrieve it in January I was chased 300 feet back into my house by what I think were Africanized Honey Bees. Had 5 nasty stings before I got away from them. I called Cody and he found the container half full of honey with a huge nest. He recommended he come back at night and take the entire container (with nest) away when the bees would be calmer and in the nest.
