In two post-screening follow-up appointments Dr. Sarapura: texted and took a personal call DURING my appointment, typed up her summary during my appointment (obvious she hadn't looked at it before), wasn't wearing her coat but did have her purse draped over her shoulder ready to go, and changed an appointment time that had been scheduled for 6 weeks TWO days before the appointment. Seek a more professional Doctor!

Dr Sarapura was unconcerned with the symptoms I came to be treated for, concerned herself only with lab results, refused to acknowledge that borderline (the very top of the ‘normal’ range) results might need to be addressed, had to repeat a needle biopsy multiple times as she failed to obtain samples repeatedly, and was generally unhelpful and unsympathetic.

She doesn’t return calls, or MyChart emails. She made a huge mistake in my testing. Had to get a patient advocate involved. Find another Doctor willing to help you.

Made a separate trip to deliver medical records to her office. They have been missing since summer (she noted she's waiting on prior medical records when I'm fact they were hand delivered). Emailed her a couple times, she didn't bother to respond. The case is complex, but she seems to have zero interest in thinking outside the box. Multiple specialists had pointed to Endocrinology to oversee this particular issue, but after seeing her, I can only say it was an epic disappointment and a waste of time.
